Many people have transitioned to using public transit over personal cars to commute to work. As a result, areas with high transit connectivity are becoming favorable for new developments. The by-product is called Transit Oriented Developments (TOD) in which the majority of users are expected to use readily available public transit modes. Here at Stonefield, we recognize the characteristics that make TODs and use every design aspect to the advantage of the project. One example would be lower parking supply which allows for more residential units.
